  1. Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains how the Eshe informational website uses cookies and similar technologies.

This Cookie Policy applies only to the Eshe website. It does not govern the use of cookies, SDKs, analytics, push tokens, tracking events, or similar technologies inside the Eshe mobile application.

Use of the Eshe mobile application is governed by separate documents:

The Eshe website is an informational resource. Users cannot create an app account, use the AI assistant, maintain a calendar, track symptoms, upload health-related files, or use the main digital features of the Eshe mobile application through the website.

  1. Who Operates the Website

Unless expressly stated otherwise in a separate document or local notice, the Eshe website is operated by:

FEM HEALTH LIFE LIMITED
Giangou Tornariti 8, Ilia Court 202, 3035 Limassol, Cyprus
Email: official@eshe.space
Phone: +2540000000

In this Cookie Policy, “Eshe,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to FEM HEALTH LIFE LIMITED, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise.

  1. What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files that a website may store on a user’s device or browser.

Cookies and similar technologies may be used to:

  • make the website work properly;

  • remember basic user settings;

  • remember the user’s cookie choices;

  • support website security;

  • understand how the website is used;

  • measure marketing performance;

  • support contact forms, social media links, and other website functions.

Similar technologies may include pixels, tags, local storage, session storage, web scripts, server-side tracking mechanisms, and other technical tools that help a website or third-party service recognize a browser, device, or website interaction.

Server logs are not cookies because they are not stored on the user’s device. However, they may record technical information about website requests, such as IP address, browser type, request time, and requested pages. We refer to them in this Cookie Policy for transparency.

  1. Categories of Cookies Used by the Website

The Eshe website may use the following categories of cookies and similar technologies.

4.1. Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are required for the basic operation of the website, security, page loading, abuse prevention, saving cookie preferences, or providing a function requested by the user.

Without these cookies, the website may not work properly.

Strictly necessary cookies are generally not optional and usually do not require separate user consent where they are genuinely necessary for the website or for a function requested by the user.

4.2. Preferences Cookies

These cookies help the website remember user settings, such as language, region, interface display, or similar preferences.

If these cookies are not strictly necessary, they are used only in accordance with applicable law and the user’s cookie choices.

4.3. Analytics Cookies

Analytics cookies help Eshe understand how users interact with the website, which pages they visit, how they arrive at the website, and how the website can be improved.

Analytics cookies may be used to:

  • improve the website structure;

  • analyze website traffic;

  • understand content performance;

  • detect technical issues;

  • improve the user experience.

Analytics cookies are optional and are activated only after the user gives consent to analytics cookies, where such consent is required by applicable law.

4.4. Marketing Cookies and Pixels

Marketing cookies, advertising pixels, and similar tracking technologies may be used to:

  • measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns;

  • understand traffic sources;

  • support marketing analytics;

  • support retargeting, if enabled;

  • display more relevant information or advertising on third-party platforms.

Marketing cookies and pixels are optional and are activated only after the user gives consent to marketing cookies, where such consent is required by applicable law.

4.5. Third-Party Cookies and External Technologies

The Eshe website may use tools or elements provided by third parties, such as analytics tools, advertising pixels, contact forms, security tools, or links to external platforms.

If Eshe adds embedded third-party content in the future, such as videos, maps, social media embeds, or external forms, those third parties may set their own cookies or similar technologies in accordance with their own policies and settings.

  1. Consent and Cookie Control

Where required by applicable law, Eshe obtains the user’s consent before placing or activating optional cookies, including analytics cookies, marketing pixels, advertising technologies, session analytics, and optional cookies related to embedded third-party content.

Optional cookies are not placed or activated before the user gives the required consent.

Users may be offered the following choices:

  • accept all cookies;

  • reject optional cookies;

  • manage cookie categories;

  • save selected preferences;

  • change cookie preferences later.

If the website uses a cookie banner or cookie settings center, users may manage their choices through buttons such as:

  • Accept all;

  • Reject non-essential;

  • Manage settings;

  • Save preferences;

or equivalent buttons in another language, if the website uses a localized interface.

Users may also change their settings through the Manage Cookie Preferences link in the website footer or another accessible location, if such a link is available.

The ability to accept or reject optional cookies should be presented clearly and in a balanced way. Optional cookie categories should not be pre-selected unless permitted by applicable law.

Continuing to browse the website, scrolling, or closing the banner is not treated as consent to optional cookies where applicable law requires explicit consent.

If a user rejects optional cookies, the website remains available in its basic form, although certain optional features, analytics, personalization, embedded third-party content, or marketing measurement may be limited.

Users may also manage cookies through their browser settings. Blocking or deleting cookies in the browser may affect how the website works.

  1. Cookie Consent Records

If a cookie consent management tool is used, Eshe or the provider of that tool may store limited information to remember and demonstrate the user’s cookie choices.

This information may include:

  • consent status;

  • cookie categories accepted or rejected by the user;

  • date and time of the choice;

  • version of the cookie banner or this Cookie Policy;

  • browser or device identifier, where applicable;

  • technical information necessary to store the preference.

Cookie consent records may be retained for up to 12 months, unless a different period is required by the cookie management tool, applicable law, or technical necessity.

  1. Cookie Banner

If the Eshe website uses optional cookies, the cookie banner provides users with clear information and a real choice.

The cookie banner may inform users that the website uses cookies for website operation, performance improvement, understanding website usage, analytics, and marketing, where the user consents to the relevant cookie categories.

The cookie banner must not mislead users, hide the rejection option, use pre-selected optional categories, or make refusal more difficult than acceptance where such practices are not permitted by applicable law.

  1. Cookie Settings Center

If the website uses a cookie settings center, it allows users to manage cookie categories separately.

Analytics and marketing categories are off by default until the user gives the relevant consent.

  1. Cookies and Tools Used on the Website

As of the date of the last update of this Cookie Policy, the Eshe website uses or may use the following cookies and tools depending on the website’s technical configuration and the user’s cookie choices.

Loading...

If Eshe connects new cookies, pixels, analytics tools, or third-party technologies, this Cookie Policy and the cookie settings center will be updated in accordance with applicable law.

  1. Google Tag Manager

The Eshe website may use Google Tag Manager.

Google Tag Manager is a tag management tool that helps manage scripts and tags on the website. The consent category depends not on Google Tag Manager itself, but on the tags and scripts deployed through it.

Optional tags deployed through Google Tag Manager, including analytics tags, marketing pixels, advertising tags, retargeting tags, or session analytics tools, remain blocked until the user gives the relevant consent, where such consent is required by applicable law.

Eshe maintains an internal list of tags deployed through Google Tag Manager, including their purpose, provider, category, type of data sent, trigger, and consent requirement.

  1. Analytics

Eshe uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how the website is used and how it can be improved.

Analytics may help Eshe understand:

  • which pages are visited;

  • how users arrive at the website;

  • which materials users interact with;

  • whether pages load correctly;

  • how the website can be improved.

Website analytics are not used to intentionally collect cycle data, symptoms, AI-chat messages, medical documents, health-related files, or other health data processed inside the Eshe mobile application.

Because the Eshe website may contain materials about women’s health, the menstrual cycle, pregnancy, mental health, wellness, and similar topics, Eshe seeks not to transmit to analytics tools any events, page titles, custom parameters, or event names that unnecessarily reveal a user’s sensitive interest in health-related topics.

Where possible, Eshe applies privacy-protective analytics settings, such as:

  • IP anonymization or similar safeguards, where available;

  • limited event collection;

  • no collection of data entered into forms;

  • no collection of sensitive custom events;

  • reasonable retention settings;

  • restricted access to analytics dashboards.

If analytics tools use non-essential cookies or similar tracking technologies, such tools are managed through the cookie banner or cookie settings center where required by applicable law.

  1. Marketing Pixels and Advertising Technologies

The Eshe website may use Meta Pixel for advertising measurement, campaign analytics, and marketing performance tracking.

Marketing pixels are not used through the website to intentionally collect or transmit:

  • cycle data;

  • symptoms;

  • pregnancy-related data;

  • AI-chat messages;

  • medical documents;

  • health-related files;

  • message content from the contact form;

  • data entered by the user into the contact form;

  • sensitive health-related custom events;

  • event names that directly reveal sensitive interest in health-related topics;

  • page categories that unnecessarily reveal sensitive interest in health-related topics;

  • names, email addresses, phone numbers, or other contact details through advanced matching, unless Eshe has an appropriate legal basis and the required consent where applicable.

By default, Eshe does not enable Meta Advanced Matching, hashed email / phone matching, or similar identity-matching features unless this has been separately reviewed and approved from a privacy, legal, and technical perspective.

Marketing pixels and advertising technologies are optional and are activated only after the user gives the required marketing consent, where such consent is required by applicable law.

  1. External Links and Embedded Third-Party Content

The Eshe website may contain links to external social media pages or app stores.

Ordinary links to external platforms should not, by themselves, set third-party cookies on the Eshe website before the user clicks the link and leaves the Eshe website.

If Eshe adds embedded third-party content in the future, such as videos, maps, social media posts, external forms, or other third-party elements, such embedded content may behave as if the user visited the relevant third-party website directly.

Such third parties may collect technical data, set cookies, track interactions, or apply their own privacy and cookie policies.

Where possible and appropriate, Eshe uses privacy-enhanced modes, consent gates, click-to-load mechanisms, or other measures to reduce unnecessary third-party tracking before the user decides to interact with embedded content.

  1. Contact Form

The Eshe website may contain a contact form that allows users to submit inquiries.

Cookies or similar technologies may be used to support form functionality, security, spam prevention, message delivery, or the technical operation of the form.

The contact form is not intended to collect sensitive health information through the website. Users should not submit cycle data, symptoms, medical documents, laboratory test results, AI-chat messages, medical images, or third-party health data through the contact form.

If Eshe uses contact form analytics or transmits form interactions to analytics or advertising tools, such use is separately reviewed and managed through the relevant cookie and consent settings.

By default, data entered by the user into the contact form is not sent to Google Analytics 4, Meta Pixel, Google Tag Manager tags, advertising platforms, or marketing tools.

A short notice may be displayed next to the contact form informing users that they should not submit sensitive health information through the website.

  1. Cookie Retention

Cookies may remain on the user’s device for different periods depending on their purpose, category, and provider.

Cookies may be:

  • session cookies, which are deleted after the browser session ends;

  • persistent cookies, which remain for a defined period unless the user deletes them earlier;

  • third-party cookies, whose retention period is determined by the relevant third-party provider.

As a general approach:

  • cookie consent records may be retained for up to 12 months, unless a different period is set by the cookie management tool or applicable law;

  • Google Analytics 4 cookies may remain for up to 24 months, unless configured otherwise;

  • Meta Pixel _fbp may remain for up to 90 days, unless configured otherwise;

  • strictly necessary cookies are retained for the period required for their technical purpose;

  • security cookies are retained in accordance with the settings of the relevant hosting, CDN, or security provider.

  1. How Users Can Manage Cookies

Users can manage cookies in several ways:

  • through the cookie banner, if shown;

  • through the cookie settings center, if available;

  • through the Manage Cookie Preferences link, if available;

  • through browser settings;

  • through device settings;

  • through tools provided by third-party platforms, where applicable.

Most browsers allow users to delete cookies, block cookies, or receive alerts before cookies are stored.

If a user blocks or deletes cookies, some website features may not work correctly or may need to be reset.

  1. Withdrawal or Change of Consent

Where cookies are used based on consent, the user may withdraw or change that consent at any time.

Withdrawal or change of consent should be as easy as giving consent, for example through the Manage Cookie Preferences link, if available.

Changing cookie preferences does not always automatically delete cookies already stored in the browser. The user may need to delete existing cookies through browser settings.

Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before consent was withdrawn.

  1. Relationship with the Website Privacy Notice

This Cookie Policy should be read together with the Eshe Website Privacy Notice.

The Eshe Website Privacy Notice explains:

  • what categories of website data Eshe may process;

  • for what purposes such data may be used;

  • what legal bases may apply;

  • what rights the user may have;

  • how the user can contact Eshe.

This Cookie Policy provides more specific information about cookies and similar technologies used on the Eshe website.

  1. Changes to This Cookie Policy

Eshe may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, including where:

  • new cookies or tools are added;

  • analytics or marketing technologies change;

  • website functionality changes;

  • third-party providers change;

  • cookie consent management tools change;

  • legal requirements change;

  • Eshe needs to clarify or improve cookie disclosures.

The current version of this Cookie Policy is published on the website. The date of the last update is indicated at the beginning of the document.
